Verity Barltrop BSc (Hons) MBAcC

Traditional acupuncture can be an effective therapy to help restore balance in your body and mind, enhancing your feeling of wellbeing. It can help you to feel more relaxed, positive, invigorated, and revitalised. 

Verity provides acupuncture in Harley Street, Central London and also in Ruislip, Middlesex (near Pinner, Northwood, Rickmansworth and Watford). She graduated from the University of Westminster with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and is bound by their Codes of Professional Conduct and Safe Practice.

Verity has clinical experience of treating people of all ages (up to eighty three years old), and also pregnant women. She is especially interested in pain relief, and has provided acupuncture as the only pain relief during dental root canal treatment. Verity has an excellent rapport with the people that she treats and is described as “kind” and “gentle”.

Verity’s background was initially in the civil service and banking industry. She then decided to move into a more caring profession and has fifteen years experience working as a qualified nursery nurse, ten of those within an N.H.S. hospital. She is currently Enhanced CRB checked and has a First Aid at Work Certificate.

Due to her passion for acupuncture, Verity continuously improves and up-dates her skills through conferences, lectures, courses, seminars, and personal reading and research.
When not working, Verity enjoys practicing tai chi and qi gong exercises and spending time with her family and friends.
