    Davina Butler

Davina Butler ITEC, Embody, CTha, BTPA

Davina is a fully qualified and experienced Practitioner in Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST) which is a form of Bowen Therapy and is a member of the Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA) and is also a Practitioner of the Emmett Technique.

NST Bowen therapy is a remarkably effective professional bodywork technique, that when applied, initiates a process of natural auto-regulation to occur in the spinal column and consequently throughout the whole body.  The resultant effect of this is a rapid elimination or reduction of symptoms, followed by an increase in energy and an unmistakable sense of well being.

Bowen therapy is gentle and therefore appropriate for everyone, from new-born babies to the elderly.  It consists of gentle rolling movements over muscles, tendons and ligaments at precise points on the body using fingers and thumbs.  The process releases energy, sending impulses to the brain to trigger the body’s own healing systems.

This remarkable technique can be quick and effective in helping the following:

Muscular and skeletal problems in neck, shoulder, hip,
knees, ankle and back, including sciatica

Frozen shoulder, tennis and golf elbow, R.S.I.
    and carpal tunnel

    • Feeling stressed and overwhelmed with life?
    • Can’t sleep? Disturbed digestion? No energy?
    • Longing for peace and stillness within?

Craniosacral Healing is a potent yet gentle combination therapy that helps to establish harmony and balance throughout the mind, body and soul, resulting in a wonderful sense of wholeness and wellbeing.

It is performed here at The Windmill Studio Centre by our brilliant therapist, Barbara Sharma.

Barbara, a former pharmacy manager, benefits from a background in conventional medicine together with a deep passion and understanding of the power of complementary medicine, an interest which began for Barbara over 30 years ago.

The term ‘cranio-sacral’ comes from the word ‘cranium’, the head, and ‘sacrum’, just above the tailbone. The treatment, however, is not restricted to this area alone as it impacts the entire body - physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.

Barbara combines Craniosacral Therapy with natural Healing, helping patients on a journey into the world of the soul, where inner peace prevails.

Craniosacral Healing is also an amazing resource for expectant mothers, new mums and their babies.

The hormonal changes that take place when pregnant, as well as the tumultuous changes within the physical body can be managed harmoniously and gently by Craniosacral Healing, alleviating stress and tension in both mum-to-be and unborn baby.

    This tender treatment can

    • ease backache

    • improve digestive problems of pregnancy

    • provide much-needed relaxation

For babies suffering from colic, sleeping trouble and digestive problems and new mums facing a whirlwind of new physical and emotional challenges, Craniosacral Healing can also be a valuable resource.

Barbara works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at Windmill Studio Centre

    Namita Bhatia

    Namita Bhatia

As a NLP4Kids Practitioner, I work with families in Pinner and surrounding areas who have identified that their child is not feeling or behaving as they used to. Often the anxieties children have, affect them in more than one way. Some may have problems sleeping at night, whilst others seem to have subtle changes in their personality that might cause them to become shy, refuse to go to sleep at night or develop anxiety related problems or behavioural problems.

Some of my work involves coaching both parents and child on an emotional level. At other times we may need to look together into other health related triggers, considering your child’s diet and routines as well.

I help children to overcome their sleep problems, improve confidence and anxiety – very often these things are interlinked and making a change in one will have an immediate positive impact on the other.

You can contact me today to arrange a free 45-minute consultation.

I offer workshops for children and parents.
